HR Talks Amsterdam: Leadership and management skills to navigate VUCA times

A breakfast discussion hosted by FT | IE Business School Corporate Learning Alliance

The session took place at TomTom HQ in Amsterdam and we would like to thank for Arne-Christian van der Tang, SVP Group HR, for welcoming us in their Amsterdam office and his insightful presentation.

The session offered an opportunity to discuss how to communicate, encourage and train the workforce to drive change in an organisation. The roundtable was moderated by Joseph Pistrui, PhD, Professor of Entrepreneurship & Innovation, IE University and Robin Kwong, Head of Digital Delivery at Financial Times.

Joseph referred to two of his articles on HBR; ‘The Future of Human Work Is Imagination, Creativity, and Strategy‘ and ‘To Seize the Future, Create a Leadership Circle’. On the other hand, Robin gave examples of corporate transformation and digitalization of the deliverables, such as the Uber Game that are revolutionizing the news industry.
